I was diagnosed with a severe medical condition that, among other things, affects my vision. Finding out I’m disabled was a huge shock for me and my family

Over summer, I will be playing basketball with my friends at the skatepark and I am hoping to improve a lot on my dribbling, shooting and my court vision.
Hey, I’m Emily Brickwood, a 17-year-old girl from Whangamatā. I play rugby and love to dance, but my favourite sport is skiing. I have been skiing since I could walk and come from a family where everyone loves skiing and we spend as many winter weekends as we can at the mountain. Some of my favourite things about skiing are: there is always a new challenge, the terrain is constantly changing, and being lucky enough to spend time with family or friends while doing something we all enjoy.
Dive Zone Whitianga, situated in the magnificent Mercury Bay, is the hub of diving knowledge and offers a gateway to outstanding dive locations on the Coromandel Peninsula.
Hi, my name is Caleb Mahoney, I am 12 years old. I am in year 7 at Mercury Bay Area School and I have lived in Whitianga for six years. I started to play golf when I was nine years old. That was in 2020. I enjoy playing golf because I get to spend time with my grandparents. My grandad has taught me to play.
