The Mercury Bay Art Escape 2025 opens with its annual Gala Event on Friday, 28 February, at 6:00 pm at Hot Waves Café, Hot Water Beach.
This year’s keynote speaker is printmaker and artist Jeff Lockhart.
Jeff’s art is influenced by tapa designs, tatau, symbols, motifs, and the colours of the Pacific, as well as the land and flora around us.
Tickets to the Gala Event include: one complimentary drink, canapés, an auction, live music, and the opportunity to meet the artists.
Auction Items Include:
A fabulous piece of art by Jeff Lockhart. A two-night stay for two people at the luxury boutique accommodation Kuaotunu Bay Lodge, staying in “The Studio.” This accommodation offers privacy, a private entrance, and a private deck with sea views. The package also includes a $100 gift voucher for the iconic Luke’s Kitchen.
