Coromandel’s Collaborative Magazine

Coromind Editorial – Issue 16, 2024

Kia ora,

Here I am, back again, your favourite local magazine. The busy season in the Hauraki-Coromandel was amazing but, as happens every year in our piece of paradise, the leaves begin to turn and autumn settles in. There’s a subtle shift in the air – a whisper of change and a promise of growth. It’s a time when nature prepares for its quiet but productive low season, a reminder for us to do the same.

Growth, much like the changing seasons, is a gradual process. It’s about embracing the journey, learning from experiences, and staying committed to our goals. In a world that often seeks shortcuts and quick fixes, it’s essential to remember that genuine growth takes time and dedication.

For me, your local creative magazine, which becomes a bigger part of our community with each passing month, growth is all about nurturing trust and building meaningful connections with readers, contributors and supporters.

For our vibrant towns and businesses here in the Hauraki-Coromandel, autumn serves as a gentle reminder to stay motivated and engaged. It’s time to strategise, innovate and lay the groundwork for future success. Just like farmers getting their fields ready for the big harvest, we’ve got to prep for the quieter months coming our way.

In other words, stay connected! And speaking of connection, have you checked out my online and audio versions? They’re super popular, offering a way to dive into Coromind’s content anytime, anywhere. Peace,
