Kia ora Welcome to the 6th issue of Coromind, arriving just in time for the winter season in beautiful Aotearoa, New Zealand. As the chilly winds blow and we gather
I have a huge passion for all art
and love, the euphoric energy
that comes from creating art that brings joy to someone.
My favourites are Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing. I started doing kickboxing in 2017 with Vaughn Condon when I was 7 years old
over at Cooks Beach in the hall. And I started Jiu-Jitsu in 2020 when the new Evolution Fitness gym opened up with TOA Martial Arts
Learning to create a work of art and walk away with no sense of attachment or neediness for this to be seen by anyone has been a powerful lesson that has helped me let go of attachments not just to the art I create with rocks but in all other aspects of my life as a designer, musician and human.
Winter doesn’t have to mean bidding farewell to your garden. In fact, it’s the perfect time to cultivate a vibrant array of winter crops that thrive in the cooler temperatures.
