At the start of this year, the Coro Classic brought its third edition to Matarangi, solidifying itself as a go-to event for an audience dressed in vibrant colours and ready for a good time on a perfect sunny day!

My art continues to feature a blend of abstract and representational elements, often focusing on themes of nature and the human experience.

My journey into art started with 10 years of deep depression. During this time, my counsellor suggested I start painting, which led to me putting some paintings into an exhibition run by Stepping Out, a support group for psychiatric survivors in Thames.

Continuing with Jerry’s story from Part 1, he had been house leader for several years and was building a wooden dinghy in the garage.
