Toya is a versatile musician who regularly performs at various venues across the Hauraki-Coromandel region.
Growing up in Wharekaho in a musical family, Toya was immersed in music from an early age—her parents often performed gigs, and singing was a shared family passion. She began her musical journey in church, learning to play the guitar to accompany her singing.
For the Coromind ArtWorks Fest, Toya is joined by Evan Vaughters on the djembe. The duo has been jamming together for an incredible 13 years, bringing their unique synergy to the stage!
