The Whangamata Summer Festival Committee is thrilled to announce the line-up of this year’s eagerly anticipated festival events, taking place just after Christmas. According to Renee Meiklejohn, the Festival Coordinator, the dedicated Festival Committee has been hard at work preparing an incredible program with a lineup of high-caliber musical talent.

Fiona Gates resides in the rural Coromandel Peninsula with four of her five tamariki. Her small whare is adorned with a large collection of pottery and art pieces she has gathered over time.

SoulSaxPlus are a New Zealand saxophone duo featuring tenor and soprano sax, vocals, synthesizers, keyboards, tenor recorder, clarinet, alto flute, percussion and original sequenced backings.

He’s experienced the many shifts and evolutions in the Drum and Bass scene and brings this depth of experience to his DJ sets, which are wild andloose, overflowing with energy, unique genre bending mashups and underpinned by hefty rolling basslines.
