The Department of Conservation – Hauraki-Coromandel is gearing up for Seaweek—a celebration of our oceans—happening 1–9 March!
Over the summer of December 2024 and January 2025, the Coromind ArtWorks Fest took place in Whitianga, marking a milestone for us as our first physical space.
I’m aware my paintings are quite eclectic and varied but I actually enjoy mixing it up and painting in a style that complements my purposes for each piece.
Did you know? Over the last decade, the average abundance of legal-sized snapper has been nine times higher within the reserve than outside. (Based on baited underwater video monitoring, 2006-2018).

Coromind is a collaborative project that gives voice and a platform to the people from the Coromandel. Diversity is essential to us.
