The Whangamata Summer Festival Committee is thrilled to announce the line-up of this year’s eagerly anticipated festival events, taking place just after Christmas. According to Renee Meiklejohn, the Festival Coordinator, the dedicated Festival Committee has been hard at work preparing an incredible program with a lineup of high-caliber musical talent.
Friday, 20th December: Happy Hour from 3:30 pm.
Live music by Let’s Go Descarrego! & Friends.
Thursday, 26th December: Opening night from 5 pm featuring Shane Walker, Ginney Deavoll, and Kay Ogilvie.
Live music by Amir Yussof and Fabian Roberts & Friends.
Fiona Gates resides in the rural Coromandel Peninsula with four of her five tamariki. Her small whare is adorned with a large collection of pottery and art pieces she has gathered over time.
