Youth Rebellion and Musical Evolution
The first time I saw Flaxxies playing live, I was impressed by their musicianship, enthusiasm and stage presence.
After that show, we ended up at a cool party and bonded pretty quickly. I’m at least 10 years older than drummer Neo Lee, Eric Goodger lead guitar, Nick Tait rhythm guitar, Chris Manning bass/trumpet, and lead singer Benji Humphries, but they’re old souls with a great sense of humour, willing to understand the world around them by connecting with humans and showing interest in what they are up to.
Educating the younger generation about conservation is crucial for the future of our planet. By creating a love for nature and wildlife, we allow them to become future conservationists who actively care for our environment. As someone who has looked after wild birds for many many years, I always felt it was an important part of my role.
The untold stories of World War I soldiers
In the planning for our annual Anzac exhibition, we came across three photos of soldiers posing in their World War I uniforms. These photos made us ponder – who are the men in the photos?
Sharing life’s moments with loved ones is crucial. Sometimes, though, we get so used to doing things together that we forget to appreciate their significance. Let’s not be those people.
