Her creations celebrate the natural solidity and strength of stone, aiming to evoke a sense of tactile repose and optimism for societal change.
Meet King Fish, the killer three-piece band with Jacob on drums, Heinzy on bass, and Jay rocking guitar and vocals. They’re all about heavy riffs but with a cool twist: each instrument gets its own space to breathe, avoiding that full-throttle, non-stop noise. Their sound hits hard but stays clear and balanced, giving them a unique edge in the scene.
Occasionally, we all feel unwell. Periodically, we might have a headache, catch a cold, or burn a fever. Sometimes, we break some bones, suffer more severe internal issues or are diagnosed with some devastating illness. When this happens, most of us will seek out a general practitioner, a specialist or a surgeon and, subsequently, receive some medication to help us recover.
In Part 1 of this story, I suggested that people and political parties sit down and share kai together, speak and listen to each other and reach compromises through sharing ideas and understanding – and not use historical agreements to sow discord and division, as the Act Party’s Treaty Referendum Bill is doing.

At the end of July I am going to America to play college soccer in Nebraska.
My football journey began when I moved to Whitianga and joined the Mercury Bay 11th Grade team coached by Leah Gubb, the first person who truly inspired me to take the sport further.
